MASHHAD, Iran(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Scholars, thinkers and artists from 11 countries will attend the 4th international Ali Asghar (AS) congress in the holy city of Mashhad.
The congress is set to be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 18-19, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
Hojat-ol-Islam Abdul-Jalil Makrani from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Azim Muhtadi Bahrani and Kamal Ahmed Kamal from Bahrain, Hojat-ol-Islam Sayyid Ahmed Hakim from Lebanon, Muhammad Tijani Samawi from Tunisia, Nizar Al-Qatari from Kuwait, and Sayiid Muhammad Baqir Fali from Iraq will be among the participants.
Representatives from Canada, Pakistan, India, and Qatar will also be present in the two-day congress.
Organized by the World Asembly for Commermoration fo Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS), the congress aims at promoting the Hosseini (AS) culture and raise a revolutionary generation.
